About the game

One line

Drag a glowing orb through a swarm of enemies with one finger, collect energy to open the gate, and try not to let go.

Short description

Rampant Spark is a one-finger survival dodger for your phone. Drag Spark, a talkative ball of energy, around a glowing circuit board, collect ten tokens to unlock the gate, and slip past enemies that wander, chase and dash. Ten levels and a shape-shifting boss are playable free in the demo.

Full description

Meet Spark, a lonely, talkative AI model deemed too dangerous for public interaction, and he wants to be your friend. The question is... do you trust it?

Rampant Spark is played with a single finger. Put it on Spark and drag: there is no lag, no virtual stick and no buttons, so every hit is a mistake you made, not one the game made for you. Tokens drop onto the board one at a time. Collect ten to charge the gate and reach it before the swarm reaches you.

Enemies are color-coded and readable. Wanderers drift, Chasers hunt, and Sprinters draw a warning lane before they dash along it. Later levels close the walls in on you. Every few levels a chest offers a choice of power-up, and the level 10 boss changes shape as you collect tokens, bringing a partner for each form. You have three hearts. Lose them all and the run starts again from level one.

The free demo contains all of World 1. Each run is timed, and a run where nothing ever touches you earns a PERFECT RUN.

Features

In the demo today

  • One finger, zero lag. Spark follows your fingertip exactly. No buttons, no stick.
  • Ten levels and a boss. World 1 builds from calm to chaos and ends with a shape-shifting boss fight.
  • Enemies you can read. Red means danger. Sprinters telegraph every dash with a warning lane.
  • Closing walls. Mid-world levels squeeze the play field around you.
  • Short roguelite runs. Three hearts, a restart on defeat, and chests that offer a choice of power-ups.
  • A talking hero. A short story opening where Spark tries to talk you into helping.
  • Play it anywhere. Android, Windows or your browser, with gamepad support.
  • Chase your best time. Every run is timed, with a PERFECT RUN badge for a clean sweep.

Beyond the demo (planned)

The full game is a run of themed worlds, each changing how the field behaves. Forty additional levels across four more worlds are planned:

  • Rebound. Pinball-style enemies that bounce off walls and each other, with glass bumper walls.
  • Machinery. Area-denial towers, sentries and electric grids, with time-warp levels that speed up and slow down the whole field.
  • Confinement. Walls that rise and fall, floors that sink away, lasers, mines and teleporters.
  • Spray. The last world: enemies that unleash projectiles in learnable patterns, and an exciting conclusion to the narrative.
  • Meta-progression. A system that lets players make their challenge easier or harder, for the most hardcore action fans.

Logo

The original logo is made for dark backgrounds. The light versions are recolored (rebuilt as a crisp two-tone mark at 3x size: navy letters and bolt, blue lettering) so they stay readable on white.
